Forest blossom honey (Quercus robar) combines flower nectar and honeydew from holm oak or oak trees. Its colour varies from amber to dark amber, depending on the variety of honeydew. Its aroma is floral with a clear malty component. Its flavour is sweet with salty notes. In the aftertaste, the intensity and persistence of the malt increases. It crystallizes very slowly or not at all.

Our Forest Blossom Honey is harvested at the beginning of September across the entire Iberian Peninsula, except in coastal areas, mainly in mountainous regions

Forest blossom honey can be eaten on its own or dissolved in hot or cold drinks. It combines perfectly with chutneys, strong cheeses, meat sauces, roast meat or blue fish and pickled fish. Finally, it can also be used to make cosmetic products
