ROASTED APPLES WITH DRIED FRUITS, NUTS AND ROSEMARY HONEY

INGREDIENTS

· 4 yellow or green baking apples

· ½ cup (approx. 75 g) dried fruits: walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, grapes, candied orange, etc.

· 1 generous glass Madeira wine

· 6 teaspoons “La Obrera” Rosemary Honey

· 1 glass hot water

 

METHOD

· Remove the top and core of the apples

· Put the fruit and nuts inside the apples and drizzle them with a teaspoon of “La Obrera” Rosemary Honey and a little Madeira wine

· Pour the water, the rest of the wine and the rest of the “La Obrera” Rosemary Honey into the baking tray

· Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (155°C fan, 347°F or Gas Mark 3) for about 20 minutes or until the apples are soft
