EUCALYPTUS HONEY

100% SPANISH HONEY · UNFILTERED · UNPASTEURIZED

Eucalyptus honey (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) is light amber in colour, but if it contains broom or heather, it is a little darker. Its aroma is very intense and persistent, reminiscent of the smell of wet wood. Its flavour is sweet with slight acidic notes. Moreover, if it also contains broom or heather, light salty notes can be detected. There is an increase in olfactory sensation in the aftertaste. It has an average tendency to crystallize in fine crystals.

Miel de Eucaliptus Ficha In.

Our Eucalyptus honey is usually collected in summer in the Extremadura area, the southern coast of the Mediterranean and the western coast of the Cantabrian Sea. Occasionally, some year it is also harvested in winter in the Huelva area or in favorable springs, on the Cantabrian coast

Eucalyptus honey can be eaten alone or dissolved in hot or cold drinks. It combines perfectly with teas, dark breads, blue fish dishes or pickled fish. Finally, it can also be used to make cosmetic products
