CHOCOLATE AND ORANGE BLOSSOM HONEY CAKE

INGREDIENTS
· 320g plain flour
· 150g “La Obrera” Orange Blossom Honey
· 50g cocoa powder
· 50g brown sugar
· 50ml mild olive oil
· 3 eggs
· 1 sachet baking powder (16 grams or 4 level teaspoons)
METHOD
· Heat the “La Obrera” Orange Blossom Honey gently in the microwave until warm. Set to one side. Beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture foams, then add the oil and “La Obrera” Orange Blossom Honey
· Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into the egg and sugar mixture. Use a spatula to mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined
· Pour the mixture into a greased and floured baking tin, and place in an oven preheated to 180°C (160°C fan, 356°F or Gas Mark 4) for 30 to 40 minutes
· Leave the cake in the tin until cool, then remove from the tin and dust with icing sugar
